Choosing your engagement and wedding photographer doesn’t have to be complicated. I guess that’s what Dana and I are all about when it comes to your engagement and wedding photos. Here’s a few quick facts about Dana and I when it comes to us as your wedding day photographers.
- We’re always prepared. At this point we pretty much have our “wedding day” system down pat. I have my shot list ready to go, Dana has all the driving directions and timeline mapped out. He double checks my gear and keeps me on top of my timeline AND the itinerary that we’ve already discussed for the day. Which brings me to point number two…
- We work with you and your vendors to map out a timeline of the day. This ensures we get all the shots you so desperately want while getting you and your party where you need to be. When this is mapped out we usually, as your photographers, make sure everything is running like clockwork and take the reigns if need be. We have been known to and have been praised for helping move things along when coordination leadership was lacking. We’re there to make sure things are moving smoothly no matter what-leaving you a stress-free experience.
- We are multi-taskers. I will always be the lead photographer, while Dana is great at capturing extra shots that sum up the entirety of your day. He usually photographs groomsman (even doing beer runs when needed) while I’m getting bridal portraits. Having a second shooter is essential to get us plenty of fun images to choose from! Two cameras is always better than one and I won’t shoot a wedding without him!
- We are laid back, professional and fun-loving. We love that we get to be a part of your big day and we want you and the whole wedding party, your family and guests feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. We like to keep family portraits light, quick and fun, and have a great time with wedding party shots!
