I’m a very blessed girl 🙂 Yesterday I was able to follow Julie Nickerson of Nickerson Studios on a newborn shoot here in the Woodbridge area. A little background story first. I’ve known Julie literally my entire life. Our parents have been close friends since before I was born so, I’ve always just known the DeSantis Family. I remember playing in their yard and falling asleep on “Uncle Al’s lap”. Both of our families attend the same Church so they are really like family to us. Seth and Julie have done our engagement, wedding and newborn pictures, which we were/are more than pleased with. They are talented photographers. So, when I became more interested in photography Julie has been such a blessing, answering my questions and even allowing me to join her on some of her newborn shoots!! I feel so special! And this time, since I have my new camera she let me borrow her flash and test it out! I had such a great time! Here are some photos I took. Oh yes, funny thing is…when we got to the location…it ended up being Tim and Connie who I went high school with! It was an awesome surprise!
