Happy Mother’s Day Mom!
This is my first official Mother’s Day being a Mommy. It’s been such a great year so far getting to watch my little girl Gracie grow and grow. I can’t believe she’s already 5 1/2 months old! Having a child really changes your ENTIRE perspective on life. It really does. I was just chatting about that today in church with some other Mommies. It makes you think of just how you were as your parents child. All the things you did and didn’t do… It also makes me think of just how amazingly awesome my parents are. Both of my parents are great and superhero’s in my eyes, for various reasons that make them special in their own way. And I have to say, my Mom has been such a HUGE blessing in my life. She’s been such an amazing, Godly example of what a Mommy and wife should be. It’s funny how you can appreciate your parents more after you become one.

Mom, I want you to know I love you so much and appreciate all the little and big things you do for me. I think about how I am as your daughter and want you to know that your an amazing Mom, you always will be and you always have been. When I think about the Mom I want to be for Gracie, you have been the perfect example and I thank God for you! Even though we see you everyday, we can’t get enough of you! Here’s proof! Facetiming during dinner…HA!

Mom, you a beautiful, inside and out. I get emotional thinking about how amazing you are to me. Thank you for praying for me and for loving me so much…I know I’ve under appreciated you many times in the past, and you’ve felt it—but know that I appreciate you SO much and am so thankful to God for you and pray one day I can be just like you.
I love you Mom. You’re amazing.

Happy Mother’s Day to the best Mom and Grandmother a girl could pray for.
Love,
Kelsey
